Expanded fulfillment network will enable 1–2 day delivery to 98% of the U.S. with economy ground service
Staci Americas Fulfillment has acquired the fulfillment services unit of Iron Mountain (NYSE: IRM), a multi-billion dollar company known primarily for records storage. The former Iron Mountain Fulfillment Services (IMFS) locations (now Staci Americas locations) give Staci Americas distribution warehouses in every region of the U.S. — enabling 1–2 day delivery to 98% of the country with economy ground service.
Staci Americas' expanded product fulfillment network now includes modern fulfillment centers in Chicago, IL and Milpitas, CA (San Jose), as well as new facilities in Staci Americas' existing markets of Atlanta, GA and Cranbury, NJ. Staci Americas also has locations in Dallas, Phoenix and Los Angeles. In total, Staci Americas' nationwide fulfillment network now includes 15 facilities across 7 metro markets.
“At Staci Americas, fulfillment is our sole focus and the addition of IMFS customers, locations and expertise creates the leading, private B2C fulfillment provider in the United States,” says Staci Americas CEO, Harry Drajpuch. “The IMFS acquisition supports our goal of being the fulfillment partner of choice for growing, direct-to-consumer brands.”
While Staci Americas primarily distributes finished goods for online retailers and direct selling companies, the IMFS acquisition expands Staci Americas services to include “marketing fulfillment” – the creation and distribution of printed and promotional materials.
According to Drajpuch, combining Staci Americas and IMFS capabilities brings a number of other benefits to current and future customers, including:
All tasks associated with integrating Iron Mountain Fulfillment Services are being handled by a dedicated transition team within Staci Americas and will not impact existing customer operations.
